SOUTHEAST GULF WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and
beyond 5 fathoms...
Gulf of America from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal
out to 5 fathoms...
Gulf of America including Dry Tortugas and Rebecca Shoal Channel...
Hawk Channel from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out
to the reef...

At 1019 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
strong thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 33 nm
northwest of L Tower to 10 nm south of S Tower to 9 nm northeast of T
Tower, moving southwest at 10 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
P Tower, L Tower, New Ground Rocks Light, and T Tower.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.

Intense and continuous lightning is occurring with these storms. Stay
low, or go below. Lower VHF antenna, outriggers, fishing rods, and
umbrellas. Avoid open areas on islands and sandbars. Do not shelter
under tall or isolated trees on nearby mangrove islands.

be lightning strikes, and gusty winds.

Otherwise, no hazardous weather is expected at this time.
