Through 1200 pm, scattered showers will wax and wane across the
coastal waters south of the Lower and Middle Keys, as well as a
western Straits of Florida and the offshore Gulf, including the Dry
Tortugas. These showers will move generally to the northwest to west
at 5 to 10 knots. Mariners in the vicinity of the strongest showers,
mainly south of the Dry Tortugas, can expect brief heavy downpours
reducing visibility and wind gusts near 20 knots.
