.NOW...
Through 730 pm, widely scattered showers, and possibly an isolated
thunderstorm, will move southwest to westward at 15 mph, and be
concentrated in a swath stretching from the gulf waters west of
mainland Monroe, to the Lower and Middle Keys, and continuing across
the eastern Florida Straits. The stronger activity will produce wind
gusts of 25 mph, blinding downpours, and possibly a few lightning
strikes. Island locations from Big Pine Key to Sugarloaf will be most
likely to be affected by this activity. Rainfall amounts of a quarter
to one half of an inch will be possible.
