Through 830 pm, widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move westward near 10 knots, on the surrounding near and offshore waters from Long Key to the Dry Tortugas. The stronger activity will be in and around the Lower Keys, and the deep gulf waters west of mainland Monroe. Primary impacts from stronger cells will include occasional lightning strikes, wind gusts near 30 knots, and blinding downpours. Some activity may cross over the Lower Keys near Key West. Three quarters to one inch will be possible. $$
