...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM MONDAY TO 7 AM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels
  expected. For the Gale Warning, west winds 30 to 40 knots with
  gusts up to 50 knots and waves 6 to 9 feet expected.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to
  Vermilion OH, and the open waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay
  to Vermilion OH.

* WHEN...For the Low Water Advisory, from 1 AM Monday to 1 AM
  EST Tuesday. For the Gale Warning, from 1 AM Monday to 7 AM
  EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
  water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels across the western basin are
  forecast to fall between 4 to 6 feet below low water datum,
  which is at minimum over 3 feet below the safe level for
  navigation.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.
