This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Lake Erie, Lake
Huron and Lake St Clair.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gale Warnings are in effect for all marine zones through Friday,
with high-end gales possible. Low water advisories are also in
effect for inner Saginaw Bay and western Lake Erie. Please refer to
the latest Marine Weather Message (MWW) for more information.

Numerous lake effect snow showers expected this evening and
overnight, with embedded snow squalls possible. Snow accumulations of
a dusting to 3 inches possible by Thursday afternoon, with locally
higher amounts possible in the Thumb.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a chance for accumulating snowfall Saturday night into
Sunday as a low pressure system tracks across Lower Michigan.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. However, spotter reports of
snow accumulation would be greatly appreciated.

...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 AM
EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Expect sustained winds up to 38 knots from the west
  with gusts up to 44 knots. The largest significant waves will
  be 18 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 26 feet.

* WHERE...Lake Huron from Sturgeon Point to Alabaster MI beyond
  5NM off shore and Lake Huron from Port Austin to Harbor Beach
  beyond 5NM Off Shore.

* WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 6 PM EST Thursday
  with the largest waves expected around 9 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
