This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

West winds of 10-20 knots with gusts to 25 knots will gradually
weaken early Sunday morning. Small Craft Advisories remain in
effect for Grand Portage to Grand Marais and for the Outer Apostle
Islands.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Strong west-northwest winds return Sunday with gusts of 20 to 25
knots in the Apostle Islands to Saxon Harbor and from Taconite
Harbor to Grand Portage. Conditions may be hazardous for smaller
vessels.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon
and evening. Severe weather is not expected at this time.

Strong southeast winds are likely Monday and gusty west winds are
likely Tuesday. There is a 30 to 70 percent chance for gale-
force wind gusts Monday evening into Tuesday, with the highest
potential from Grand Marais to Grand Portage and in the Apostle
Islands. Conditions may be hazardous for smaller vessels and Gale
Watches may eventually be needed.
