There is a chance of scattered thunderstorms this evening, especially on the North Shore. A few storms could be severe and produce hail around an inch in diameter and winds up to around 50 kt. Dense fog may develop over the waters due to rain from storms falling over Lake Superior. Areas of smoke are possible into tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday There is a slight chance of thunderstorms Friday morning with the highest chance over the south shore waters. Dense fog is possible Friday morning. There will be off and on periods of smoke.
