This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Hazardous conditions for small craft are occurring on Lake
Superior tonight. A Heavy Freezing Spray Warning and Small Craft
Advisory are in effect. Northwest winds will gust to 30 knots,
generating steep waves and rapid ice accretion on vessels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Winds and waves will gradually subside Friday afternoon and
evening. However, freezing spray and hazardous conditions for
small craft will linger through Friday morning. The risk for gales
or hazardous small craft conditions diminishes for the weekend.
