...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and
  waves 6 to 11 ft.

* WHERE...Grand Portage to Grand Marais MN, Grand Marais to
  Taconite Harbor MN, Taconite Harbor to Silver Bay Harbor MN
  and Silver Bay Harbor to Two Harbors MN.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Hazardous wind and wave conditions persist over western Lake
Superior overnight. Please refer to the latest Nearshore Marine
Forecast and Marine Weather Message for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Conditions will begin to slowly improve on Thursday with just
small craft advisories needed along the North Shore.

Conditions hazardous for smaller vessels will redevelop Friday
and persist into Saturday as a low pressure system moves through
the region.
