This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening into early
tonight, a few of which could become strong. Main hazards include
wind gusts up to 40 knots, small hail, and occasional cloud-to-
water lightning.

Southwest winds increase this afternoon with gusts up to 25 knots
and waves building up to 4 feet from Silver Bay to Grand Portage,
leading to hazardous conditions for small craft. A Small Craft
Advisory is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms Thursday night into
Friday. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time.
