This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong southwest winds continue today, becoming west this evening,
with gusts of 30 to 40 knots expected, and wave heights as high
as 7 feet. A Gale Warning is in effect for most of western Lake
Superior beginning this morning into tonight. Wind gusts will be
slightly weaker from Sand Island, WI to Saxon Harbor, WI, and
Small Craft Advisory is in effect.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and
evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Winds diminish through the day Monday, then increase again late
Monday into Tuesday, with wind gusts of 25kts possible near Grand
Marais. Conditions could become hazardous for small craft.

  NM from Mainland.
