This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Northeast winds with gusts of 15 to 25 knots are forecast early
this morning and will gradually weaken today. Waves of 2 to 7 feet
are expected over portions of the South Shore and will be slower
to subside. The largest waves will be found east of Sand Island,
the eastern side of the Outer Apostle Islands, and Oak Point to
Saxon Harbor. Small Craft Advisories are in effect for portions of
the nearshore waters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Easterly winds of 10 to 15 knots are forecast Wednesday and are
expected to veer southwesterly by Thursday morning and
northwesterly by Thursday afternoon. Wind speeds and gusts will
strengthen Thursday. Waves will become hazardous for smaller
vessels Wednesday. Hazardous wind and waves are forecast Thursday
and Thursday night.
