Gale Warnings and Small Craft Advisories are in effect. A first round of thunderstorms is expected late this evening and tonight. A few storms may be severe with wind gusts up to around 50 knots and large hail to the size of quarters. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Strong and gusty northeast to northerly winds develop Monday evening into midday Tuesday. There is the potential for gales up to 35 knots Monday night for the southwest arm of Lake Superior, the Outer Apostle Islands, and Grand Marais to Grand Portage. A combination of Small Craft Advisories and Gale Warnings will be needed again Monday evening into Tuesday. Another round of thunderstorms are possible Monday evening into Monday night.
