This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Southwest winds increase today. Small Craft Advisories are in
effect for most of the nearshore waters through this afternoon and
through this evening along the North Shore.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

There is a chance for scattered thunderstorms late Friday into
Saturday morning, with cloud-to-water lightning being the primary
concern.

Strong southwest winds continue Friday night and there is a 20 percent
chance of gales Friday night near Grand Portage.

Areas of smoke may be possible at times.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
