A Gale Warning is in effect for parts of Lake Superior for
winds of 35-40 knots tonight. See the latest Marine Weather

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A few gale force gusts will be possible in the vicinity and east
of the Keweenaw Peninsula Thursday, especially during the morning
hours.

The need for weather spotter reports is not anticipated at this
time.

  gusts up to 45 kt and waves 6 to 9 ft occurring. For the Small
  Craft Advisory, west winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt
  and waves 6 to 9 ft expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Central, Eastern and Western Lake Superior.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 1 AM EST Thursday. For the
  Small Craft Advisory, from 1 AM to 9 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
