* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 25
  kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 7 to 10 ft expected. For
  the Gale Warning, northeast winds becoming northwest winds 25
  to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and waves 12 to 17 ft expected.

* WHERE...Lower Entrance of Portage Canal To Huron Islands MI
  Including Keweenaw and Huron Bays and Huron Islands to
  Marquette MI.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 AM EST Wednesday.
  For the Gale Warning, from 1 AM Wednesday to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

Northeast to northerly gales are expected to impact the western
and central lake tonight, with gales possible over the far western
lake as soon as late this afternoon. See the latest Open Lake

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

North to northwest gales are expected across the lake Wednesday
through Thanksgiving. A few storm force gusts up to 50 kt are
possible Wednesday and Wednesday evening (40 to 60% chance). See
