* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, north winds 20 to 30 kt with
  gusts up to 40 kt and waves 8 to 13 ft expected. For the Small
  Craft Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to
  30 kt and waves 7 to 12 ft expected.

* WHERE...Marquette to Munising MI and Munising to Grand Marais
  MI.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 7 AM this morning to 10 PM
  EST this evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 10 PM
  this evening to 7 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

A Gale Warning is in effect for much of Lake Superior due to
north, then NW gales of 35-40 kts through this evening. See the

details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a chance for gales Friday night through Saturday across
the eastern half of the lake.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

The need for weather spotter reports is not anticipated at this
