PST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and
  hazardous seas 14 to 19 feet expected. For the Small Craft
  Advisory, southwest winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt
  and seas 10 to 14 feet.

* WHERE...Cape Mendocino to Pt Arena out 10 nm.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 3 AM Friday to 3
  AM PST Saturday. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 3 AM PST
  Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
  damage to vessels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port
until hazardous seas subside.

...UNSETTLED MARINE CONDITIONS WITH STRONG AND ERRATIC WIND
GUSTS LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY...

A VERY COLD AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS ALONG WITH PERIODIC BANDS OF
CONVECTION OR SQUALL LINES WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR RAPID AND
SUDDEN WIND GUSTS TO 50 KT ON FRIDAY. IN ADDITION, ISOLATED
WATERSPOUTS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH LOW-TOPPED THUNDERSTORMS LATE
TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. THE THREAT FOR WATERSPOUTS WILL
LIKELY PERSIST ON SATURDAY. SUDDEN AND ERRATIC WIND GUSTS
ASSOCIATED WITH WATERSPOUTS COULD CAPSIZE SMALL BOATS.
