Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing this afternoon over the higher terrain north of Fairbanks will drift south over Fairbanks, North Pole and Eielson this afternoon and evening. A few of the thunderstorms will have small hail, but they are expected to be much less vigorous than what occurred on Tuesday. The thunderstorms are expected to diminish by midnight. $$
