AREA...Much of eastern OK and northwest AR. ONSET...Late Morning. DISCUSSION... Hot and humid conditions will develop once again today with dangerous heat across the area this afternoon. Heat indices, or "feels like" temperatures will reach 100-105 degrees across many locations this afternoon. Some locations across northeast Oklahoma will heat index values greater than 105 degrees, therefore a heat advisory has been issued and will be in effect through 6 pm. While most of the area will be dry today, there is a slight (10-20%) chance of a few showers or thunderstorms this evening across portions of northeast OK and northwest AR. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. SATURDAY TO SUNDAY...No Hazards.
