This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Patchy fog will be possible across the forecast area, particularly
over northwestern, central, and southern Arkansas through this
morning, with visibilities improving in the first few hours
following sunrise. Otherwise, no other hazardous weather is
expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A slow moving storm system in or near Arkansas may interact with
what should be tropical system Helene in the eastern Gulf of Mexico,
with abundant moisture possibly pulled in our direction. If this
scenario pans out, northern sections of the state could receive
significant rainfall Thursday and Friday.

A lot will depend on where the storm system goes. If the system
remains nearby, then the rain will come. If the system wobbles
toward the Tennessee Valley, the rain will mainly affect areas to
our north and east. We will continue to monitor the situation
closely.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
