much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

DANGEROUS HEAT.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Heat index values between 100-105 degrees continue in parts of

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Upper level high pressure will continue to bring increasing heat
and humidity to the region through the remainder of the weekend
and into next week. The combination of temperature and moisture
will lead to widespread triple digit heat index values and
increased potential for heat stress impacts. Heat headlines will
likely be needed.

As the upper level high pressure shifts west of the region, low to
moderate shower and thunderstorm chances will return towards the
middle of next week.
