This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hot and humid conditions will remain in place on Tuesday with
high temperatures this afternoon topping out near 100 degrees for
many areas. Heat index values are expected to exceed 105 degrees
across most of Arkansas with some of eastern Arkansas forecast to
experience heat index values at or above 110 degrees on Tuesday
afternoon.

It will be imperative again on Tuesday to practice heat safety by
staying hydrated and taking multiple breaks out of this dangerous
heat in a location with adequate air conditioning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Temperatures will be slightly cooler on Wednesday and Thursday
with some rain possible on Wednesday. While a few stronger storms
can not be ruled out, widespread severe weather is not expected.
Very hot and humid conditions return for Friday and into the
weekend.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
