This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Small chances for a shower or thunderstorm are in the forecast
later today across north Arkansas, associated with a weak cold
front. However, no severe weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will return this weekend.
Severe weather chances will remain low, but a few storms may be
capable of producing damaging wind gusts and locally heavy
rainfall.

...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas...

  White River At Augusta affecting White and Woodruff Counties.

For the Lower White River...including Newport, Augusta, Georgetown,
Des Arc, Clarendon...elevated river levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 24 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY, JUNE 14...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...White River at Augusta.

* WHEN...Until Friday, June 14.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Farm ground along the river in White and
  Woodruff counties begin to flood. Seasonal agricultural impacts.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 24.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.9
    feet early Monday afternoon.
  - Action stage is 25.5 feet.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
