This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous heat and humidity is expected again across the forecast
area today. The messaging remains the same... If you plan to be,
or have to be outside for extended periods today, stay well
hydrated, take breaks in the shade or inside, and know the signs
of heat-related illnesses.

In addition to heat and humidity, some isolated to widely scattered
storms will be possible across portions of Arkansas this
afternoon. Additional rounds of showers and storms are expected
over northern Arkansas this evening and tonight. The main hazards
with storms will include hail and strong to damaging wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Cooler/drier air will spread across Arkansas from the
north behind a cold front on Friday. Chances of showers and
thunderstorms will continue across the central and southern
counties before exiting toward the Gulf Coast after dark.

Seasonal temperatures are in the forecast this weekend.
Precipitation will be isolated, mainly south and west of
Little Rock.

Another cold front will push into the state from the Plains
early next week. The front is expected to stall across the area,
and will trigger scattered thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures will remain close to average.

Any severe weather in the coming days will be spotty, with
strong to damaging wind gusts the main concern. Any flash
flooding due to thunderstorm downpours will be localized
at most.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
