Scattered afternoon thunderstorms will be possible south of a line from Lufkin Texas to Columbia Louisiana Saturday and again Tuesday through Thursday. More widespread chances for thunderstorms are expected across the entire area on Sunday, before being limited mainly to Louisiana and Deep East Texas on Monday. Despite the rain chances, the heat and humidity will continue through Thursday.
