This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous weather is not expected today or tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Moisture is expected to increase by this weekend, with increasing
chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Scattered
showers and storms will continue Monday with a drying and warming
trend beginning Tuesday. There is a limited threat for flash
flooding over the burn areas Saturday through Monday.

Colorado...

  Colorado River above Grand Lake affecting Grand County.

  Fraser River from Winter Park to Granby affecting Grand County.

.Warm temperatures will accelerate snow melt in the Upper Colorado
River Basin through the end of this week and into early next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when recreating or walking near rivers or creeks.
Rivers are flowing very high and fast and will continue into next
week.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...Fraser River from Winter Park to Granby.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Water approaches buildings, floods yards
  and begins to impact streets close to the river in Winter Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 6:00 PM MDT Thursday the stage was 2.7 feet.

    - Bankfull stage is 3.0 feet.

    - Forecast...The river will oscillate and remain just below
    flood stage with a maximum value of 2.9 feet early Monday
    morning.

    - Action stage is 2.7 feet.

    - Flood stage is 3.0 feet.

    a maximum value of 7.9 feet late Sunday evening.
