There will be scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms, spreading eastward across the plains late this afternoon and overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday and Friday. A couple of the storms could be strong on Thursday and Friday, and locally heavy rain is possible.
