This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous conditions due to hot temperatures will continue
across much of the southeast plains today where a Heat Advisory is
in effect for the urban areas along the I-25 corridor and lower
Arkansas River Valley.  Readings in these areas will climb to
between 95 and 105, well above seasonal averages and close to record
highs.

Isolated high based showers and thunderstorms will be possible over
and near the mountains today.  The main risk from thunderstorms will
be localized gusty winds up to 50 mph and lightning, but little to
no rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected
each afternoon Wednesday through Monday, with the greatest hazards
being gusty winds, small hail, and lightning with any more organized
thunderstorms. Some storms Wednesday may be strong to severe across
the eastern plains, with severe wind gusts and large hail
possible.
