This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

It will be another very warm to hot day across northeast Colorado
with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Isolated gusty showers and
thunderstorms will develop this afternoon bringing wind gusts to 40
mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Moisture is expected to increase Wednesday and Thursday bringing
better chances for showers and thunderstorms, some of which could
be strong to severe and produce large hail and heavy rain.

...OZONE ACTION DAY ALERT FROM 400 PM MONDAY UNTIL 400 PM
TUESDAY...

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has
issued the following...

WHAT...Ozone Action Day Alert.

WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western
Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties

WHEN...400 PM Monday June 24 to 400 PM Tuesday June 25

IMPACTS...Ozone Action Day Alert is now in effect for the Front
Range Urban Corridor. Request to limit driving gas and diesel-
powered vehicles is now in effect until at least 4 p.m. Tuesday,
June 25, 2024.  Hot and stagnant weather conditions are set to
continue with ozone concentrations possibly reaching the Unhealthy
for Sensitive Groups category both Monday and Tuesday during the
afternoons and early evenings. The highest ozone concentrations
are expected to be in and near the Denver metro area.For areas
included in this advisory that are not expected to reach the
Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) air quality designation, we
request that activities, such as driving non-ZEV vehicles (i.e.,
gas or diesel), be reduced to lessen the impacts on neighboring
air quality. Additional air pollution in this region may directly
worsen air quality or contribute to precursors which may also
adversely affect air quality.  For Colorado air quality

HEALTH INFORMATION...Increasing likelihood of respiratory symptoms
and breathing discomfort in active children and adults and people
