This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Critical fire weather conditions this afternoon mainly for parts
of the urban corridor, plains, Palmer Divide, South Park, and
Grand/Summit counties due to humidity as low as 10 percent.
Southwest wind could produce wind gusts up to 35 mph. A Red Flag
Warning remains in effect until 9 PM MDT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A cold front will bring cooler temperatures for the plains on
Tuesday which will continue on Wednesday. There will be a chance
of thunderstorms, mainly over the higher terrain on Wednesday.

Scattered thunderstorms can be expected over the mountains and
plains on Thursday, a few of which may be strong to severe.

FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR 213, 214, 216, 241, 246,
247 AND 249...

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 213, 214, 216, 239, 240,
  241, 244, 245, 246, 247 and 249.

* Timing...From 11 AM until 9 PM MDT Monday. Dry and gusty
  conditions develop from south to north this afternoon.

* Winds...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 9 percent.

* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
  Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a
  spark and start a wildfire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
