This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Deep subtropical moisture originating from TS Alberto will linger
over the region today. An upper level disturbance working with this
ample moisture threatens to bring heavy rain to southeast Utah and
southwest and west-central Colorado beginning this morning and
continuing through the evening. Localized flooding is possible and a
Flash Watch remains in effect for those areas mentioned previously.
In addition, there is a marginal chance for severe thunderstorms
across the entire forecast area with the Four Corners region favored.
The main threat is large hail with a lesser potential for localized
tornadic activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Thunderstorms become more scattered in coverage with a significantly
reduced threat for heavy rain or severe storms. Afternoon/evening
thunderstorms, more isolated in coverage, can be expected Sunday
through Tuesday. Storm coverage increases again for the latter part
of the coming week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to relay rainfall amounts or any observed
flooding to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
