THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
The combination of boundary interactions, moisture, and daytime
heating will promote mainly afternoon and evening scattered
showers and lightning storms, with the highest threat inland from
the coast. Primary storm impacts include, occasional to frequent
lightning strikes, gusty winds up to around 40 mph, and locally
heavy downpours.

.EXCESSIVE RAINFALL IMPACT...
Locally heavy downpours from slow-moving showers and storms could
provide locally a quick 1 to 3 inch rainfall amount, especially
from repeated rounds. This will produce considerable ponding of
water on roadways and other poorly drained surfaces, especially in
locations that may have observed heavy rainfall from recent days.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
There is a Moderate Risk of dangerous rip currents at all central
Florida Atlantic beaches today. Always swim near a lifeguard, and
never swim alone.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
Scattered showers and isolated lightning storms will remain in the
forecast into mid next week. A higher threat of showers and
storms is forecast later next week as both moisture and onshore
flow increase. Storm hazards will remain occasional to frequent
lightning strikes, gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall
capable of producing minor and nuisance flooding.

Deteriorating marine conditions are possible next week as winds
increase and seas build. The rip current threat will be Moderate
to High early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
