This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of Mexico. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents along the Atlantic coast beaches. Marine: Hazardous marine conditions until later this morning over the Gulf waters, and until early this afternoon over the Atlantic. Thunderstorms: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon. Some storms may become strong. Hazards include lightning strikes, gusty winds and heavy rain. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible through the rest of the week and into the weekend. The strongest thunderstorms could contain gusty winds and heavy downpours. The risk of rip currents will continue into the second half of the week across the Atlantic Coast beaches as onshore flow remains robust. Hazardous marine conditions over the Atlantic waters will continue through at least mid day Thursday.
