...High Risk of Rip Currents for Atlantic Beaches...
...Scattered Storms Across SW Florida This Afternoon...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon,
mainly over Southwest Florida and the Lake Okeechobee. The strongest
storms could contain gusty winds, heavy downpours, and frequent
lightning.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents along the Atlantic
Coast beaches.

Marine: Hazardous marine conditions will develop throughout the day
over the Atlantic and Gulf waters as the easterly winds range 15 to
20 kts with gusts to 25 kts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible through most of the week.
The strongest thunderstorms could contain gusty winds and heavy
downpours. Any heavy downpours could create the potential for
additional flooding concerns.

The risk of rip currents will continue into the middle portion of
the week across the Atlantic Coast beaches as onshore flow
strengthens.

Hazardous marine conditions over the Atlantic and Gulf waters will
continue into the middle of the week as winds strengthen and seas
increase.
