This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents along the
Atlantic coast beaches.

Thunderstorms: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon. Some storms may become strong. Hazards include lightning,
gusty winds and heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible through the rest of the
week and into the weekend. The strongest thunderstorms could contain
gusty winds and heavy downpours.

The risk of rip currents will continue into the second half of the
week across the Atlantic Coast beaches as onshore flow remains
robust.

Heat Index: peak heat indices over 100 degrees are expected this
afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible through the rest of the
weekend and into next week. The strongest thunderstorms could contain
gusty winds and heavy downpours.

The risk of rip currents will continue into Saturday across the
Atlantic Coast beaches as onshore flow remains robust.

Peak heat indices over 100 degrees are expected through the
weekend.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
