In southwest Florida, Collier. * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 448 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen during the last hour. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area during the next couple of hours with these thunderstorms. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. If the rainfall amounts increases more than forecast, then a Flash Flood Warning may be needed for this area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible, so a Flood Watch is in effect for the Florida Keys tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected from Friday through Wednesday. The primary hazards will be lightning strikes and locally gusty winds. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible through Friday night. Small Craft Advisories may be required for portions of the Florida Keys coastal waters Monday through Wednesday due to freshening easterly breezes. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
