This will easily cause sufficiently energetic surf to support a high risk of rip currents today. Then a prolonged period of strong easterly breezes will set up over the northeast Gulf late today, lasting until about Friday morning. This will confidently maintain a prolonged period of high rip current risk at all area beaches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. && $$
