This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms are possible today. Some
storms may become strong and produce gusty winds and heavy
downpours. Slow storm motions will lead to the potential for
localized flooding, especially in areas that have poor drainage or
are hit with multiple rounds of storms.

Heat: Peak heat indices will range between 100 and 105 across most
areas this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible each day. The strongest
storms could produce gusty winds and heavy downpours. Slow storm
motions could also result in localized flooding.

Heat indices over 100 degrees will be possible each day, with values
up to 110 possible late in the week.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
  counties, Broward and Miami-Dade.

* WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 223 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise,
    Weston, Doral, Miami Lakes, Cooper City, Hialeah Gardens,
    Medley, Intersection Krome And U.S. 27, Pennsuco, Palm
    Springs North, Country Club, Intersection I-75 And Griffin
    Road, Sunshine Acres, Pine Island Ridge and Tamiami.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
