Scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms will linger into the overnight hours. Locally heavy rainfall and occasional lightning will be possible in any thunderstorm activity. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday... Scattered thunderstorms are expected over much of the area each day from Saturday through next Thursday. Storms that develop will be capable of producing lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds. Extreme heat will also be possible across much of the area Saturday through Monday. Heat index values in the low to mid 100s are forecast in central Georgia and portions of north Georgia during those afternoons. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
