Very hot temperatures are expected this afternoon, with highs rising into the upper 90s to low 100s. High fire danger conditions are expected this afternoon into the evening for portions of north and central Georgia due to low relative humidities. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible across portions of north Georgia tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday... Scattered thunderstorms are expected over much of the area each day from Thursday through next Tuesday. Storms that develop will be capable of producing lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds. Extreme heat will also be possible across much of the area through next Tuesday with heat index values around or above 100 each afternoon. Heat index values will be highest Friday through Sunday, possibly exceeding 105 in the in central Georgia and portions of north Georgia during those afternoons. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
