A heat advisory is in effect through 8pm today for heat indices in excess of 105 for portions of central Georgia. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are again possible over north and central Georgia. A few storms may become strong with locally gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday... Scattered thunderstorms are expected over much of the area each day from Monday through next Saturday.
