This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

A few isolated showers or storms are possible tonight. Severe
weather threat is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Showers and thunderstorms return late Monday and again on Tuesday
afternoon and evening. Severe weather is possible on both days,
with the primary hazards being damaging winds and large hail.
Locally heavy rainfall is also possible on Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms will return late in the week. Severe
weather chances will be evaluated in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Monday and Tuesday.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Pocahontas and
  Palo Alto Counties.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Humboldt and
  Kossuth Counties.

  East Fork Des Moines River at Dakota City affecting Humboldt
  County.

.River forecasts have recently been updated. Record flooding is
forecast along portions of the West Fork Des Moines River. Varying
degrees of flood severity are forecast along portions of other
streams.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL SUNDAY, JUNE 30...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...The East Fork Des Moines River near Algona, or from
  Buffalo Creek near Burt to Lotts Creek near Livermore.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, June 30.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water affects portions of US 18. Water
  enters the parking lot of the shopping center north of US 18 and
  west of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.7
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
