Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

Flooding continues along many area rivers. Please see the latest
flood statements for additional details.

Severe thunderstorms are possible tonight, with damaging winds
the primary threat. Additionally, severe hail and perhaps a
tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Flooding will continue along many area rivers. Please see the
latest flood statements for additional details.

Thunderstorm chances return Thursday night into Friday night, but
it is too early to determine any severe weather risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed after 9 PM tonight.

  Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76 affecting Allamakee County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Lowland agricultural areas begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:00 PM CDT Monday was 14.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage late tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.5 feet on 03/12/1989.

  Vernon Counties.

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Clayton, Allamakee,
  Crawford and Grant Counties.

  Mississippi River at Winona affecting Winona, Buffalo and
  Trempealeau Counties.

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
  Counties.

  Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Clayton and

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Monday was 16.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 20.2 feet early
    Sunday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
