Thunderstorm chances return this evening through tonight. There is a risk of severe thunderstorms during this time, with damaging winds the primary threat. Greatest chances will be over far northeastern Iowa. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Tuesday will be warm and humid once again, with heat index values in the mid to upper 90s during the afternoon and evening. Additional thunderstorm chances are forecast Tuesday afternoon and evening. There will again be a risk of severe thunderstorms during this time, with all severe weather hazards possible. Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast at times from Thursday through Saturday. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Water threatens areas of Janesville south
of 8th St.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 14.2 feet early
tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
