    Near Brookings affecting Moody and Brookings
  Counties,

  Little Sioux River At Linn Grove affecting O`Brien, Clay,

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Correctionville.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, some homes and businesses southwest of the
  gauging location will begin flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:00 AM CDT Saturday was 22.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday evening and continue falling to 18.4 feet Thursday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska,
central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central
South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Flooding will continue to slowly recede over the next several days.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

An active pattern early next week could lead to additional heavy
rain and/or severe weather threat; however, confidence is very low
at this time. At this time, the better chances appear to be on
Monday night.
