A few severe storms will be possible with hail to the size of golf balls and wind gusts to 60 mph. The other concern will be heavy rain with 1 to 2 inches of rain possible. The better chance for this will be far southeast South Dakota, northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa. * WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, significant amounts of agricultural land
are flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Sunday was 20.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 15.6 feet
Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
