Severe weather is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected on Friday. There is a risk of locally heavy rain along with strong winds and hail, primarily during the afternoon and evening hours, and the possibility of a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out. There are additional chances for thunderstorms between Monday and Wednesday of next week. River to near the City of Boone.
* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.4
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage early Tuesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
