This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Through early this evening, strong northwest winds will be
gusting to 45 to 50 mph in portions of eastern Iowa, and to 35 to
40 mph elsewhere.

In addition, strong winds lofting dust into the air from freshly
tilled fields will create low visibility in open areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph.

* WHERE...In Illinois, Rock Island County. In Iowa, Cedar, Clinton,
  Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Muscatine, Scott, and Dubuque
  Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds are lofting dust into the air
  from freshly tilled fields creating low visibility in open areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
