* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water affects the Illinois Central
  railroad tracks in Dubuque.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.1 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 20.8 feet
    Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest
Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Thunderstorms are possible Friday and Friday night. Some storms
could be strong to severe. There is a Slight Risk, or level 2 of
5, for severe storms generally across Benton, Iowa, Keokuk,
Jefferson, Van Buren, and Scotland counties. The main threats are
damaging winds and large hail. Heavy rainfall is also possible
Friday into Saturday which could lead to some flooding issues.

Thunderstorms are possible again Monday through Wednesday with
additional rounds of heavy rainfall. It remains too early to
determine the severe threat.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
